Listed below are some of the books (fiction as well as non-fiction) that I’m currently reading.

• Chabon, Michael. The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay – two young men make their fortune through superhero comics as WWII transforms their world and their lives. (We’re reading this one aloud, which is why it takes some time to get through; it is brilliant!)
• Murakami, Haruki. 1Q84 – a peculiar and low-speed story following two characters in Japan in 1984, while the two moons gaze down upon the world and the Little People weave an air chrysalis.
• Kambayashi, Chohei. Good Luck, Yukikaze – military sf as the battle for Earth rages against the invading JAM, who can now take on the guise of humans.
• Pevel, Pierre. Dragon Arcana – a fantasy take on the Three Musketeers in a 17th century France with dragons.
